1 John Scherer appeals a judgment of conviction for first-degree intentional homicide and concealing a corpse, and an order denying his motion for a new trial, arguing ineffective assistance of counsel. Scherer argues the court applied the incorrect legal standard for determining whether he was prejudiced by ineffective assistance.
